Ryze Concert Tomorrow
Tomorrow night our youth will be going to the Ryze concert at the Intermediate school. The concert starts at 7:00 and the cost is $5. This is a fund raiser for the senior class at LHS. Our very own Kendra Hill will be opening for Ryze. Also, Marlon Williams, Texas Tech linebacker, will be speaking.
We will take a van from the church at 6:45 (leaving from the east parking lot) or students can come straight to the school. Anybody that rides the van with us will be required to ride the van back to the church with us following the concert.
Tonight…
So I just got a call asking about TM 412 and Escape tonight. We will be meeting at our regular time tonight. I’m super excited that Julie Mosley will be sharing about her family’s mission trip in Mexico during Spring Break. Also, our E3 Worship band will be playing (if you haven’t heard them yet, you need to stop by. They’re GREAT!).
TM 412 is from 6-7 pm…worship at 6:45
Escape is from 7-8 pm…worship at 7
San Antonio Youth Trip
One of the things I love most about youth ministry is having fun with students, so every once in a while its a blast to get away just to have some fun. Last summer we went to the DFW area, caught a Rangers game, went to Six Flags, and stayed at a really cool hotel with its very own water park. This summer we will be going to San Antonio!!! I don’t have all the details worked out yet, but here’s the plan:
Date: July 15-18
Location: San Antonio (we’ll be staying at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk)
Activities: River Walk, Schlitterbahn, Fiesta Texas (maybe), Tubing the river (maybe)
Cost: Not nailed down yet, but probably $210…this will cover a charter bus, hotel room, tickets to parks
Youth Camp Discount!

Cost: $190 if paid by April 30; $210 after April 30

E3 Prayer Room
We now have a prayer room in the E3 Student Ministry area. The prayer room is open for all students, parents, and youth workers anytime the church is open. It is located upstairs in the Student Ministry area off the hallway between the high school room and the middle school room. Feel free to stop by anytime.
