Prayer for the Henson family

On July 12 the youth group from First Baptist Shreveport was in a tragic accident on their way to youth camp. Since that time I have asked you to pray for Maggie Lee, an incredibly gifted and beautiful 12 year old girl who was trapped under that bus and has been fighting for her life in a Jackson Mississippi hospital. God answered our prayers this past Sunday by making Maggie Lee totally whole again in the arms of Jesus.

Please continue praying for Maggie Lee’s family…her parents John and Jinny and her little brother Jack.

You can read some of their thoughts and prayers from these past few weeks here. I hope their courage and faithfulness to God will be an inspiration to you as it has been to me since I got to know and love this incredible family 7 years ago.
